Montofoli is a family-owned and operated wine estate in south Evia, but it is more than just a property or a vineyard – it is a timeless place, part of the cultural heritage of Greece. Roman, Byzantine, Frankish, Catalan, Venetian, and Ottoman rulers had the possession of the estate throughout the long history of Karystos and pointed out its exceptional energy. The buildings in the estate were built in different historical periods and have been restored with great skill and respect for each their owned unique history.
Hospitality experience: The estate has four private villas for hospitality, each villa has its own style, elegance, and a great view. The villas can accommodate up to 5 people in comfort.
The Vineyard has 4 Greek grape varieties: Assyrtiko, Aidani, Athiri and Liatiko, producing a unique dessert wine.
