The Montofoli Estates' unique characteristic is the pleasant acidity that balances the sweetness and makes it one of the most sought after dessert Greek wines. Montofoli Estate should be served very cold (<4 oC) as a dessert. We suggest you have it on its own or serve it with dried fruits and roasted nuts, or with fruit compote and dark chocolate desserts. All Montofoli wines are distributed by the Cellier stores.

Selective harvest (handpicked) at the end of August or beginning of September. After the grapes are harvested they are sundried for 10-15 days.
After the sun drying period, they are sent into a pneumatic press and ferment into aluminum tanks for another month. The wine that has the best ageing potential is aged for up to 10 years in oak barrels and is exclusively used for the production of Montofoli Estate.sting
