The Red House at Montofoli Wine Estate is a classical building representative of the Greek architecture of the late 19th century. The restoration has preserved the building, a landmark of the estates’ heritage, combining comfort with a sense of luxury.
The Red House is a genuine neoclassical villa with modern facilities. A big entrance hall introduces you to the residence, which has 2 large bedrooms: one connected to the sitting/media room, 2 bathrooms and a large kitchen. The house can accommodate up to 4 people in comfort plus one or two children sharing the en-suite room of the first bedroom.
The Red House unfolds on one level with an impressive entrance hall. On each side of the hall there are two big bedrooms and one comfort sitting/media room with a lounge sofa-bed. The interior is carefully decorated in neoclassical style. Remark the beautiful Murano and antique Austrian craftwork chandeliers. The windows all around allow for rich natural light throughout the day. The villa has a fully equipped large kitchen with a dining table and an open corner fireplace. There are 2 stylish bathrooms with marble walls. The Eastern veranda overlooks the large lawn, an ideal space for relaxation or endless playtime for the children. The West terrace offers privacy and features a large stone-table made from the famous Karystian slate, where guests can enjoy their meals or a long drink in the afternoon. A variety of indigenous trees and geraniums enrich the scenery. The deep red colour of the outer walls, as well as, the delightful view to the sea make this the perfect all-day living space during the summer.
